Has anyone managed to get this working? I've tried on both 32bit server and 64bit desktop versions of Ubuntu for ARM on the Raspberry Pi 400 and I've not managed to get past the following error message on the 32bit server version: Just install Raspberry Pi with Desktop Operating System and then figure out how to download and install the VMH Client. They should have this support especially since Mac has switched most laptops to ARM chips, assuming the new v8 ISA.ĪRMv8 Raspberry Pis can run either ARMHF or ARM64 Operating Systems, therefore I do not understand your response I think the main issue for the Pi 400 is that it is ARMv8, but Horizon Client is only offered in ARMHF via the Linux 64 bit bundle on VMware’s website. It seems ludicrous that one has to buy a paid for Operating System just to have this functionality. You really need to offer a FREE Client for Raspberry Pi OS ARMHF & ARM64 Just find the 'armhf' folder in the download and follow the instructions here. I've just finished creating a deployable version for IGEL OS, which is based on Ubuntu 18.04. There is indeed a Horizon Client release for RPI4.
